Your Heart is GENIUS. But she’s hard to hear when we’re shouting out goals, looping in comparison thinking, striving to be more spiritual… and… and… and… Slow down, love—your Wisdom has a message for you.

Your Heart is GENIUS. But she’s hard to hear when we’re shouting out goals, looping in comparison thinking, striving to be more spiritual… and… and… and… Slow down, love—your Wisdom has a message for you.
I think our Souls know how to do real intimacy. No veils, no games, all courage. But we have to slowwww down to meet that level of truth. And sometimes, slowing down can bring fairly fast results. It’s a divine irony.
What if every obstacle in your path was a gift of Loving Kindness from your Higher Self? An opportunity to transform a wound into Divine Power. Fractured awareness into wisdom. Contraction into openness…
Suddenly setbacks become love notes, inviting us into deeper exploration of our True Nature.
Imagine waking up tomorrow, not needing to prove your value to anyone. Not your boss, your partner, your mom, or the landlord of the building you want to live in… how might your aspirations and energy management change?
Choose your medicine, press play, and I’ll keep the pace for you. These audiograms can be your guided meditation on a walk, some mantra vibe on repeat in the background, or a zen ritual while you shut down your day. For when it’s hard to get going, and even harder to stop… press play on Sacred Word Sets.
Why is forgiveness so hard? One reason: we aren’t taught to be forgiving.
We talk WORTH—“worthiness” is working overtime to cover up a big, egoic lie. We’ll shine a bright light on it, and steady ourselves in Divine Wholeness. This is a BIG, DEEP, GORGEOUS TOPIC. LIFE STUFF.
The Lie of Inadequacy says, “You were born defective, not good enough, flawed.” Ha ha! Not even close.
Inadequacy is an ego sham—an exhausting lie. If we buy it, we can get stuck in the worthy/unworthiness loop.
Our topic is DISCERNMENT. As in: how to hone your BS-detector and recognize the complex, beautiful TRUTH—and stand for it.
The Full-Hearteds will be called crazy, idealistic, rebellious, too soft, too New Age, irrational, impractical, so angry, disloyal, righteous, moralistic, idealistic, unrealistic, unreasonable… and (gasp!)… utopian. It won’t be the first time, it will not be the last. That’s more than alright. This moment was made for the Full-Hearteds to let love rule. We see the beautiful ideal and we know that we’re all a part of its unfolding.
Resilience isn’t about toughening up—it’s about adaptation. And adaptation is about inclusiveness. And inclusiveness is the natural state of the heart.
The Initiated Woman has bled. She’s bled from blind decisions that sliced her esteem; she’s bled from unguarded boundaries being obliterated; and she’s bled willingly, with love, because that’s what you do when people you adore are anemic or they’ve been punctured by life—you give them some of your blood. Here, I have lots, it’s fresh and warm. I’ll make more.
I’ve decided I’m going to be a Hope Detective. I’m going to track, study, broadcast it. Because nihilism sure won’t turn things ‘round. I believe: Heart people are everywhere. New worlds are underway. The solution is seeded in every problem—we just have to… detect it.
What you can’t control:
The weather. Mean people. How people interpret history. How people interpret you.
What people think about anything and everything. What people say to you. What people say to anyone else. Who or what anyone loves. How anyone feels about anything.
The Prayer of St. Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is error, the truth;
Where there is doubt, the faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
Solid conclusions only come from an inclusive point of view.
“You know what’s going to come of this moment in history?” asked Lauryn Hill. What?! Injustice, division, collusion?
“Beautiful art,” she said. “It’s happened before, and it will happen again. People’re going to make things. Artists make art from struggle.”
Her gift to everyone that night was firm Faith.
She alchemized fear into a higher vision. Like artists do.
Some Heart Centered members have been working with these devotional practices for a few months now. Our collective practice has settled into a trustable rhythm. There’s room for all of you to be carried on the momentum.
Our survival is directly related to the emergence of heart centered commerce. It’s the new imperative that business must play a healing role in society. It’s going to look like a miraculous shift in contrast to the destructive greed of capitalism.
I want to co-create a world in which everybody has the essentials: nutrient-rich food and water, education and art, (actual) healthcare, and spiritual support.
I feel like everything in my life was training for the times we are in. All of the practices, the dark nights, the devotion. And, not-so-ironically, this is the time when everything I’ve been creating—practices for staying centered and tapping into Spirit—are coming in verrry handy. We all have medicine to offer.
Many of us are riding multiple waves of emotion a day. I’m inviting you to keep bringing it all to your heart space. When I’m swimming in uncertainty, bringing EVERYTHING into my heart space is how I get steady. The heart is THE ISLAND we want to live on.
Manifestation is a technology. And like all technologies, I pray we’ll use it appropriately: to generate more loving realities for ourselves and each other. All the material stuff can be fun, and we deserve comfort and ease—without question. But let’s get on with manifesting fresh air, and clean water, and relationships that nourish and heal. And on the way to doing that, self-worth will unfold. We will be manifesting love.
To deny the negative feelings is to resist the power of our presence—we miss out on LIFE. We have to lean in, embrace it, even.
The Desire Map 2.0. Enhanced + deeply fresh content. More… MINDFUL. HEARTFUL. POWERFUL. And for 10 days only, it’s free.
I’ve always prayed. To heal. To have. I pray for people I love and people I have a hard time liking. I’ve sat in prayer circles petitioning rain and for someone’s cancer to dissolve. I know dozens of prayers from various faiths. I’ve published prayers. Danced them. Sang them. Sweat them. In reverence, in shock, in exquisite thanks.
I pray differently now.
I adore this prayer. I think it sums up relentless compassion—it covers all the bases of service and protection.
Being compassionate with ourselves is what DEEP self-love is about. The kind of love that’s bigger than self-care Fridays or a nap.
When we’re healthy and happy we make sure to dance, we pick up the phone to check in, we drop by with something in hand.
You are worth waiting for,
tall beam of Light.
And I will open the door for you like our lives depend on it.
