As our American friends head to the polls today, I wanted to offer this to all of us: Look for Light with more intensity than ever… and vote for it.
Self Help Post
May our suffering transform into liberating strength, and our despair into an incredible beauty that carries us to joy over and over again. And with deepest humility and respect for each person’s path I say: May these words save lives, and may those lives be well lived and wildly loved.
If you’re on your creative edge, you will continuously want more. True desire is full and insatiable. She is appreciative and ceaseless. She is present and she sees possibility everywhere. This is the divine paradox of intentional creating. You’ll love what you’ve got with all your heart today, and you will be ready for more tomorrow… and the next day.
When you get off of your own case, you tend to ease up on everyone else around you. Which makes you way more fun to be around.
I was down for the count. Making time to heal became my Soul focus. I had to make some changes. The end of your rope may be a beautiful turning point.
We hear this from motivators: “You are the average of the 5 people that you surround yourself with.”
After I read this sage offering from my beloved friend, Hiro Boga, I emailed her immediately and said: “This is INCREDIBLE. This diamond wisdom gave me deep comfort. It feels like an Answer. So beautiful and clear and right.”
After one more trip around the sun, here are a few of my learnings (some of which came down like honey, others, like a sledgehammer. #reallife ):
Popularity isn’t always true power. Money isn’t always success. Experience does not guarantee wisdom. Question it all. And do not doubt the wisdom of your rage.
There are still some basic good manners that should prevail no matter our generation, station, or affiliation. Here’s what it might mean to be classy, kind, and considerate whenever you are able (and we are almost always able).
Can you wish the best for those you envy?
What if your jealousy is a sign that you need to get your ass in gear?
Because, what’s wrong with wanting what you want?
Went one whole year with no psychic or astro readings, channellings, or workshops. I call it an input fast. And I lost a lot of psychic weight.
Money loss can be brutal. I’ve spent years digging myself out of some sideways business debt. I’ve thought about making voodoo dolls of some bamboozlers I signed bad contracts with. But I never look at lost or wasted money as a waste.
Recommitting to sisterly love. (Because women wounding other women won’t get us where we need to go.)
Good things come to those who… hold out. Holding out requires a sacred, almost superhuman degree of focus—mystical muther freaking prowess.
Resources for emotional trauma support for you and people you love.
Show me how to love the ones that are like, really hard to love. The misogynists and boundary bullies, the fake leaders and land-rapers. Actually, for the sake of efficiency, just show me how to love the most greedy. That should cover it. (But while we’re at it, help me out with the Mean Girls, ‘cause like, whoa.)
Your esteem and your money. Here’s a money-saving tip that also happens to be a radical counter-cultural act of defiance.
“OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SOHA” Nature is begging us to make fast, respectful changes to how we consume and care for the earth…and each other.
A Call to Create. This is such a beautiful offering from Rochelle Schiek. She sent it to me at just the right time. I’m using it to dig deeper so I can fly higher. You may want to do the same.
If there could be a slogan for manifestation theory, this would be it: Energy follows thought. Energy follows thought. Energy follows thought. And by the way…energy follows thought. Manifestation happens from the mind.
We’ve got to fall for some lies to get to our truth. The Lie of Inadequacy. It goes like this…“You were born defective, not good enough, flawed.” nooo! Erase erase. Blow it UP.
The best self-help is self-compassion. When you give yourself credit for making it this far in life—and still being a Gentle Soul—then you’ll know the Truth of Love. When, in a courageously still moment you hear yourself say, “I have everything I need right now,” then you’ll know the Truth of Faith.
The Courageous Minority vs. the road to mediocrity (which is always really…safe.) Safe. The road to mediocre is always really…safe. And in terms of fulfillment, “safe” is really, really dangerous.
Your breakthroughs have more to do with your own power than that of the expert or the authority. Wisdom is built, not bestowed.
Look for Light with more intensity than ever. In all the density and confusion that’s swirling on the planet, this is what it means to have Faith—Faith that you’ll keep finding Light. But you have to keep looking.
Devotion to Truth seeking goes something like this: You’re going to risk being disliked (actually, it’s not a risk, it’s inevitable).
ARE YOU READY TO FORGIVE? The complicated, gritty path to grace. It’s complex. It’s confusing. It’s deeply particular. It’s the through-line of most mystical teachings: Forgiveness.
Start with going on an “input fast.” Give yourself three months, maybe six months of, say, no “readings” of any kind (unless they’re poetry readings).
If there could be a slogan for manifestation theory, this would be it:
Energy follows thought. Energy follows thought. Energy follows thought. And by the way…energy follows thought.
Manifestation happens from the mind.
For it to work effectively, you must achieve clarity of desire, root into the depths of positivity, fend off doubts with Faith, and repeat. Every minute of every day, give or take.
Antidepressants, meditation, the Goddess, and antibiotics. Making up your healing path. There’s a time and place for everything. Knowing the right time and the right place is how you become your own healer.
