I wanted to write about divisiveness in the world—especially within the self help and wellness communities. And then politics. Community vs. elitism. Medical freedom vs. tyranny. Free speech vs. Censorship. Love vs. policy. But… calling out divisiness seemed… ironic.
I always have a prayer or two on my fridge, I tuck them into my day planner, and I like one on my altar. I’ve also folded them into a bunch of rosemary sprigs that I left on a friend’s porch. Easier access for divine connection. Having prayers in view makes a difference to your heart-mindset.
I used to believe that my unmet longings were a punishment. The longings pushed downward to a small loneliness.
I healed some. I learned how to grieve career paths, friendships, partnerships, and children I wouldn’t be having. And, amazingly, grief brought me so much closer to being alive. Grieving for my faded dreams woke me up.
How do you “give it over to God”? It starts with knowing this: your pain is what God is most urgently interested in—like any parent with their child. “Let’s get this healed so you can go out and play.” When we’re brave enough to bring our pain to the surface, The Divine can take it from there.
Manifesting is an art and a science—and you have to leave a lot of room for mystery, while upholding your Faith. No one has THE way. Life is complex. But here’s everything I’ve been given from masterful teachers over the years, and practiced myself with some exquisite results.
This is the first time I’ve publicly spoken about the “living death” I experienced in the Fall of 2018. I went to the darkest place of my being—panic attacks, identity crisis, loss, disillusionment and… incredible awe. GRACE.
Anxiety and fear, mercy and bliss.
It’s lying to yourself until the needle of Truth pierces your life and stitches you whole.
Spirituality is doing the dishes and looking for your phone.
Build strength through: reflection.
Build strength through: joy.
Build strength through: stillness.
Build strength through: action.
Show me how to love myself truly and entirely. Show me how to eat, sleep and move my body for nourishment, restoration, celebration. Show me how to embody everything that is my joy.
Eventually, we will all beg for love—proudly.

The Ultimate and Immediate Why:
Swallowing fresh water,
inhaling
clean air
through our mouths,
speaking
words of adoration, and
kissing.
You may hear this as an order, an invitation, or as the opportunity of lifetimes.
How you listen is how you live.
Can you hear the women crying?
Can you hear the soil gasping for clean air?
And did you hear that? That’s the sound of a good man asking, How can I serve?
