4x a year I GO ALL IN on this ritual

Last Summer Solstice, I spent a week or so really thinking through a fresh life vision. I ended up with a beautiful but, um, rather bold future scenario.

I was open to a reality check. Maybe I’d need to back away from the vision to keep my health in order and my life humming along. Because peace has become a very sexy proposition to me.

I sat myself under a willow tree in the Solstice sun in Stanley Park in Vancouver, and I asked the Higher Ups to look at the vision board in my heart.

I was a bit trepidatious because I knew I had to be willing to drop it if they said to drop it.

Maybe the vision is too big, too demanding, too… not meant for me.

I took a deep breath into my heart center, and asked, Should I go for it?

I didn’t get a flash of insight or a counter vision of more glory. My Soul didn’t say, “It shall be so, dear one!” No drama or date with destiny and Enya vibes.

I just heard this very clear response: Why not?!

It was lovely and invitational-like.

And I answered back, I mean right?! There’s no reason why not! Let’s do it.

And I think that was the most important part of that ceremony. The “Let’s do it” part. Let us do it.

I hugged the willow tree, and walked home, and I wrote out my vision in my very best handwriting. And I placed it on my altar.

Every day, I bring that vision into my heart and I do the Centering Practice with it.

SOLSTICES ARE POWERFUL TIMES FOR SETTING INTENTIONS

Summer and Winter Solstices are the year’s longest and shortest days—turning points of light. It’s a very sacred time to get closer to the light above and within us.

You can think of Solstices as portals when more light and nourishment get poured onto our intentions.

LIGHT IT UP

Honestly, this is one of my favourite things to do in my “work”:

Four times a year—every Solstice and Equinox—I lead a free group meditation. It’s about thirty minutes of guided visualization. It’s the most delicious heaping of light. It’s healing and energizing.

On SUNDAY, JUNE 21, I hope you’ll join me for this season’s meditation.

Think: nature imagery, golden prana, heart radiance, mountain-top clarity. Spacious heart space.

Thousands of people show up. We gather early in the day to set our intentions. Then we go back into our day more radiant. We get the best ideas dropping in. We sleep better. We’re lighter. Literally.

“Wow. This was exactly the reframe I needed today.” – Colleen

“Thank you so much! This was so needed and so transformative.” – Omega

“LOVE LOVE LOVE being with you Danielle. Thank you for another extraordinary experience!!!” – Juliana

More soon.

Love,

P.S. Over the next couple of weeks leading up to Solstice, I’ll send you a little prep—none of it’s required for you to “do.” All of it’s useful.

P.P.S. The willow tree story is an excerpt from my new book, Bless & Release.

Bless & Release is the physics-backed guide to transforming what you need to let go of—and having the courage to want what’s meant for you.

This is a masterclass in letting go. Even though we can’t actually let anything go. It’s physics—energy can’t be destroyed. It can only be transformed. As if we were blessing it. Because we are.
