Get in, loser. We’re dropping the judgment on our way to unity consciousness.
Hello Loves,
I’m just back from Austin masterminding and giggin’. I haven’t been on the stage in a while—been busy rebuilding my business and my body. Both my bottomline and my butt are back and I’m here for the mic. Check one, check two.
For the event, I talked about authentic intelligence vs the artificial kind. Inner guidance, the hero’s journey.
For the mastermind, I was sequestered with about 40 fellow entrepreneurs who casually jammed about Christ Consciousness and amplification of love in the world, and our kids’ struggles, and psychic phenomenon, and AI, and visibility, and fear, and loss and dating and hard marriages and finding religion and gluten free everything. None of us really talked about our “work” that much.
AFFIRMED:
Community is medicine.
Failure stories equalize everything—and they supply hope.
And judgment is a weight that feels glorious to put down.
For me, this is how I can track some personal growth. In all my softening and empowering, I’ve become heaps less judgmental. Again, this is the power of being in community—and my daily meditation… asking the divine to fill me up, embracing my demons. But also…
Hang with anyone long enough and you’ll hear their pain and victory stories, and you’ll feel things—deeply. Someone in the room will ask, “Who’s looking to find their life partner?” and you’ll melt when you see who raises their hand.
You’ll be HONOURED by the over-sharers. (Listen, you can tell me everything, I’m totally into it. People sense this about me at functions and airport lounges and they say, “I can’t believe I’m telling you this.” Go on.)
I’m happy to report that I just no longer care what you wear. I don’t even care about your history. Doesn’t matter who you voted for. Or what you put in your body. Whatever. You’re here. It’s a miracle that we incarnated in the same time frame and found each other. Let’s go with that.
For someone who’s naturally compassionate, I’ve been a naturally… judgmental person. I’m also very discerning… which is the upside of earned wisdom and a severe lack of trust in people. 😀
My point! I’ve traced the roots of my inner judge Judy and it feels revelatory!:
I think judgment of others can be a byproduct of spiritual bypassing. All us self-helpers… lean in.
Basically, spiritual bypassing is when we paint negative experiences as “spiritually positive” before we’ve actually felt the very human, negative feelings. Because we are secretly judging ourselves for having not very pretty or “spiritual” emotions and experiences.
And the offshoot of self recrimination is that you become really f*cking JUDGY with others.
That’s one of the most harmful parts of spiritual bypassing—that everything gets categorized as either “spiritual” or “not spiritual.” TV? Not spiritual. Resentment? Very unspiritual.
But when you start loving your human, “negative” behaviours more… you become MUCH COOLER to other people. It’s pretty simple. LOVE THE GNARLY WITHIN—and you know what happens? You become a more Loving person.
So… get in, loser. We’re dropping the judgment on our way to unity consciousness.
Get with people. You’ll love yourself for it.
Your Friend,
WHAT’S WORKING
I have to admit, this melted me. 3 songs, casually strung and sung in their home: Selena Gomez, benny blanco – I Said I Love You First… (Short Film) | Vevo Extended Play
WHAT’S NOT WORKING
I need to tell you about citric acid—MANUFACTURED citric acid… and how detrimental it was for me. I’m so glad that it’s being talked about more in the wellness space. A few years ago, I was swollen and wheezing from mold toxicity. Health havoc. An intuitive healer I was working with said, “There’s something that you’re consuming that has citric acid in it, and it’s doing a number on your lungs.”
I searched every label in my house. And I found it where I least expected. Every night before bed, I was taking a powdered magnesium drink. One of the top ingredients? Citric acid. I stopped immediately, and within a week, my lungs calmed down.
Synthetic citric acid is a derivative of… MOLD. And it’s in a LOT of health products. I won’t go near it.
I’m going to refer to Dr. Josh Axe to properly explain:
Manufactured citric acid, created from a type of black mold, is one of the most common additives in the world. It is found in everything from foods to dietary supplements and cleaning agents. Though citric acid is considered safe, it may trigger a reaction in those with allergies.
Citric acid is a common food additive and chemical that’s naturally found in citrus fruits and their juices. It’s considered a weak organic acid but not an essential vitamin or mineral because we don’t require it from our diets. It can either be naturally occurring, meaning the type found in plants, or man-made in a lab.
To synthetically create citric acid, the type that is used in most mass-produced processed foods, sugar is fed to the fungus called Aspergillus niger, which is a common black mold. Sugars, typically from cane sugar, beets or corn syrup, are “fed” to the fungus and then mixed with other ingredients like ammonium nitrate, potassium phosphate, magnesium sulfate and zinc sulfate.
It is mostly harmless, but when found in packaged foods it’s often made from GMO ingredients and may be linked to mold and allergies. It can be irritating to the skin or digestive system and can interact with medications when taken in supplement form.
