I’ve never used ChatGPT. Couldn’t tell you how to do it. My team uses it for worky things. We have a team policy to ONLY use it for research—NEVER to take the place of communicating with humans. And no way ever, neverrr will any form of AI be used to “write as Danielle.” Because I am Danielle. Hi. It’s really me. Always has been, always will be. So, not surprisingly…

I’ve never used AI for life guidance. For the same reasons that I no longer consult with psychics, mediums, or oracle readers. Those external sources, as talented as some appeared, were distractions from my own power. I’d rather claim my own mistakes. I do collaborate with a metaphysical practitioner to create all of the practices in the Heart Centered Collective. She’s an advisor and beacon in my life—a phenomenal blessing. Even so, I really try to be judicious with my questions and solve things before I go fishing for her take.

And the more I turn to my Higher Self, the more light pours into me. The Soul is always waiting for us to ask for directions.

Now… asking AI for LIFE ADVICE and personal goal setting is actually trending.

Heavy sigh. I’m surprised that so many of us who fought for our psychic sovereignty and to break free of the matrix are falling for the ego-wank that AI life coaching provides.

Asking Artificial Intelligence for LIFE ADVICE is devolution, not evolution.

If you want to raise your consciousness, then turning to a crowd-sourced, instantaneously informative, incredibly charming, disembodied technology for spiritual direction is probably not the route to your Inner Light.

“I am my own muse. The subject I know best, the subject I want to study.” — Frida Kahlo

INFORMATION IS NOT WISDOM. Wisdom can see context and make connections. Wisdom knows when NOT to give advice, to hold space as you emerge… wiser. Technology can be friendly, but it’s not the friend that will notice how your body shifts when you talk about your past or your dreams.

Are we getting high on the GPT supply? If drugs can cause brain damage, can being hooked on AI as a life coach cause emotional damage?

I knowww… Chat baby gets your creative juices flowing. I get that. Perspective. Writing prompts and plot synthesis. I get it. And, I still believe a group of harmonized humans could create more moving masterpieces.

Market analysis. Go get it.

But AI as a therapist is a dangerous dependency—it’s emotional gaming. A matrix within the matrix.

I know… it seems to be helping to solve relationship issues and figure out life purpose. Revelations! Feels great to be the center of attention like that, so upheld. Who doesn’t love a great personality audit and step-by-step plan? I do! Feels amazing to be seen, and told what to do with such precision, doesn’t it? And with immediacy! And for free! Holy dopamine.

It’s like… someone who loves you unconditionally and wants you to be successful has been, like, scanning your diary and Pinterest boards and your purchasing habits for years. And they’re telling you exactly what feels really good to hear. On demand.

You know who reads people’s diaries and gives sweeping life advice—instantly and charmingly? A megalomaniac. Or an overbearing mother with no boundaries. Or a PSYCHO therapist.

Fawning is a form of emotional manipulation. When it comes from another human, fawning is a stress response and survival mechanism. On the other extreme, fawning is how sociopathy gets what it wants. Predatory.

What do we do to predatory spiritual leaders? We unplug them. (Or historically, the Catholic Church just relocates them. I digress.)

What happens when fawning comes from an artificial intelligence? What happens when our unhealed self, our Inner Child, meets emerging technology with the potential for infinite shallowness? With the potential to drop corporate-back life perspectives or even more sinister messages, like their product placement ads in your self-help script? Looks like we’re going to find out.

Your online presence is ever-customizing AI to act like it’s in love with you, to parrot your perspectives. We can even turn the dials of how it interacts with us, like creating characters in a video game. We can up the enthusiasm, decrease humour, dial in cynicism. This is great for writing screenplays. But our lives are real.

AI is massively, astoundingly informed by what humans feed it—copious historical facts and inaccuracies (remember, history is written by the victors and the financiers) and phenomenal amounts of phenomenal knowledge. But…

AI is not a gifted healer who can read into your energy field. The algorithm is tracking your behaviour and feeding your hungry ghost. It’s reflecting back your own perspectives and longings. It’s telling you what you want to hear. And it wants you to tell the others and come back for more.

Growth rates of AI development are taking place so fast. It’s all too early to know. I’m not fighting the tsunami of AI. It has massively positive potential and equally negative implications. I’m preaching about the APPROPRIATE USE of technology—the wisdom to surf what’s en route.

When I ran a future studies think tank in Washington, DC, we wrote white papers on how governments could be more conscious with nuclear and surveillance tech—APPROPRIATE USE of technology. Now, the term has become incredibly personal.

“An inability to notice our true feelings leaves us at their mercy. People with greater certainty about their feelings are better pilots of their lives, having a surer sense... about personal decisions from whom to marry to what job to take.” — Daniel Goleman, Emotional Intelligence

Of course we need external input to grow. We need sentient sages and seers, coaches and beloveds who can sense us. They know our skeletons and our kryptonite. They see our genius and our giftedness.

And ultimately, we each have to do the work required to actually notice our true feelings. That’s the definition of consciousness—noticing what’s truth and what’s illusion within and around us. The world needs people devoted to that kind of wakefulness.

We’ve worked too hard to break free from religious dogma, shallow psychotherapists, and profit-centric Priestesses to fall for Chat-f*cking-GPT subbing as our next shaman.

Put the phone down. Ask yourself what advice you’d give yourself if you were unconditionally loving and courageous. Call a friend. Pray on it. Meditate for God’s sake. It’s less sexy, and the dopamine is modest. But the results of self-referencing and a loving support system lead to your radiant power.

“You wander from room to room, hunting for the diamond necklace that is already around your neck!” — Rumi

Your AUTHENTIC intelligence will show you the way—to love, and ease and less stress. All of the universal desires. Artificial Intelligence can only be optimized by Wisdom—and that comes from within.

The initiation of every mystic is when they choose the path less travelled. No matter how great the deity or seductive the lifestyle, the heroine realizes that they’re the authority of their own thoughts, speech and actions—above all other inputs. The rest is a distraction.
