Thank Venus it’s Friday!
My loves! This is part 7 of my 8-part series on the energetics of the days of the week. Understanding each day’s energetic signature allows us to flow with the energy instead of resisting it.
Today we’re talking about Friday—the day that’s ruled by Venus.
In French, Friday is Vendredi. Friday is my favourite day. Venus is the planet that rules relationships—and all communication around relationships. Venus is Divine Love, Venus is selflessness.
When we honour Friday’s loving energy, we can use its power for creativity, connection, and heart centered ideation. It’s about the transpersonal and the impersonal, which is always about being inclusive. It’s about goodwill.

FRIDAY is ruled by Venus. Venus is a Higher consciousness energy—it helps us embrace all polarities in the heart.

Here’s something that might serve you: Friday is the ideal day for taking relationships to the next level.
Venus is a great day for date night. It’s a great day for community. It’s a great day for ideas.
On Team D, we have been practicing Flexi Fridays. I say “practicing” because we want to make this more of a commitment. The flexibility creates space for both rest and the creative flow that Venus supports.
When I get into Flexi Friday mode—where I’m available for everybody and I’m also available to myself for rest and play—that’s when my best ideas come.
Friday has a Higher consciousness energy—it helps us embrace all polarities in the heart.
Fridays are ideal days for:
Date nights and romantic connection
Family time and quality relationships
Creative projects and artistic work
Ideation and brainstorming sessions
Community building and volunteering
Buying gifts and acts of kindness
Deep conversations and heart to hearts
Rest and play
Connecting with friends and loved ones
Any relationship-focused activities
Venus is about that space of love and embracing where everybody’s differences come in.
The most productive thing you can do is channel Friday’s loving energy into creativity and connection. I’ve learned that Friday wants to flow between work and play, and when we give it that flexibility our best ideas emerge.
Nervous system restoration, which is essential and really needs to be the priority, is what helps the creative ideals start flowing.
Those of us who think of ourselves as Creatives with a capital C—we need downtime, we need empty space rather than trying to fill the space.
Here’s what I’ve discovered:
Venus Fridays remind me about the power of love centered creativity. My best ideas come on Fridays. I think part of that is because of that Venus influence of love and service.
Fridays show me what wants to be created from love. By ideas, I don’t mean just new ideas and ideating and innovation, but also ideas for clarifying and optimizing what you’ve got. It’s not just about newness, it’s about a refinement of thought. My creative work feels more heart centered.
ALL THE WORK becomes more loving. From creative projects and relationship building to community connection and meaningful conversations. Working with the transpersonal energy that Venus brings makes everything feel more inclusive. Productivity with heart.
The key is embracing Venus’ transpersonal nature. Friday’s loving energy wants to create space for both connection and creativity, and when we honour both, our work becomes more soulful and our relationships deepen.
Next week, we’ll close this series (for now—there’s more to come on energetics soon. Stay tuned!) with Saturday. It’s that Saturn energy of structure and completion that helps us clean up and prepare for the cycle to begin again on Sunday.
