Tell me everything. How’s your heart? What can I do to help? What’s good for us? These 4 VERY SIMPLE, VERY DIRECT QUESTIONS will nourish every kind of relationship.
What is the difference between a love affair and a relationship?
We can soapbox, we can motivate, we can even convince people to see and do things our way. But even if someone chooses the more “evolved action” you’re suggesting, it doesn’t mean that they’ve just taken an evolutionary leap.
At the end of a big cycle of output, you’ll probably be pulled with equal force in three directions: cleaning up, stillness, and newness.
This conversation with UK-based coach Lou George ran deep and real.
Keeping it “positive” does not preclude having strong opinions… Opinions used for uplifting humanity are sacred.
After years of wanting to ascend, I’m just really grateful to be here. I hope you can say the same.
Your Heart is GENIUS. But she’s hard to hear when we’re shouting out goals, looping in comparison thinking, striving to be more spiritual… and… and… and… Slow down, love—your Wisdom has a message for you.
I wanted to write about divisiveness in the world—especially within the self help and wellness communities. And then politics. Community vs. elitism. Medical freedom vs. tyranny. Free speech vs. Censorship. Love vs. policy. But… calling out divisiness seemed… ironic.
What if the educational system got an overhaul with… loving kindness and enthusiasm? We know it needs it. Here it is, embodied. Please meet Mr. Donovan Taylor Hall (@donofriend on Instagram). He’s a youth (and parent) coach helping kids build a positive relationship with themselves through 3 key skills: gratitude, growth mindset, and self talk.
I think our Souls know how to do real intimacy. No veils, no games, all courage. But we have to slowwww down to meet that level of truth. And sometimes, slowing down can bring fairly fast results. It’s a divine irony.
Wisdom knows that there is always an exception to the rule, that there is a time and place, and that case-by-case is divine protocol.
When Grace looks to the future that she wants, a future born of suffering and awakening to joy, she seizes the moment and she makes a vow. And this is how we avoid falling back asleep after a wake-up call. We vow to live differently. And every vow requires devotion.
What if every obstacle in your path was a gift of Loving Kindness from your Higher Self? An opportunity to transform a wound into Divine Power. Fractured awareness into wisdom. Contraction into openness…
Suddenly setbacks become love notes, inviting us into deeper exploration of our True Nature.
True self love is to accept ALL parts of ourselves. Our neediness, delights, pains, talents… Light and shadows. ALL of us. Without criticism.
True self love steers us away from seeking signs from the Universe that we’re “worthy.” Self love is a remembrance of our Divinity. We are Love itself.
The ego generally dishes in two categories: arrogance and superiority complexes… or insecurity and inferiority complexes. And all the wild vacillations in between.
Stay mindful… both avenues aim to keep us asleep to our True Nature.
Here’s what my ego/small self tries to tell me…
Wisdom is the spiritual essence of the Soul. Comes in the stillness + silence. The times we opt for a long walk and talk with God, over calling the psychic.
A few stories on how I’ve released my attachments to the immediacy of knowledge, and found comfort in the presence of Wisdom…
In these factious times, will you lay it on the line in the name of integrity? Or will you stay rooted in your dominion… and find workarounds to serve in a magnificent way?
I still struggle with this myself… let’s unpack it together.
Who’s to say what’s insane and what’s enlightened? Where does our judgement crowd out the sacred mystery? Why do humans choose to suffer? Come with me…
Imagine waking up tomorrow, not needing to prove your value to anyone. Not your boss, your partner, your mom, or the landlord of the building you want to live in… how might your aspirations and energy management change?
We are in a collective reorientation. Spirit is asking us to slow down and pay attention to our breathing.
I’ve been betrayed — severely. Thank God. Betrayal is such a defining experience — it lays your heart bare, and that’s a bloody, good thing. Bloody good.
Being betrayed by another person is often (not always,) a reflection of how you were betraying yourself. It’s a lie looking back at you.
Taking planetary alignments into consideration, bringing love into politics, and nature consciousness into commerce is not spiritual bypassing. That’s spiritual practice.
We talk WORTH—“worthiness” is working overtime to cover up a big, egoic lie. We’ll shine a bright light on it, and steady ourselves in Divine Wholeness. This is a BIG, DEEP, GORGEOUS TOPIC. LIFE STUFF.
The Lie of Inadequacy says, “You were born defective, not good enough, flawed.” Ha ha! Not even close.
Inadequacy is an ego sham—an exhausting lie. If we buy it, we can get stuck in the worthy/unworthiness loop.
If you’re paying attention to your choices, you’ll cognitive dissonance pang once in a while. And it can be a smidge shamey. But when you apply compassion to that sensation it shows itself as your conscience. And it’s a signal to get into alignment with your higher nature. Either examine and change your perspective, or shift your actions.
Transmutation isn’t a slow burn; it’s a wildfire. Our inner fires are being reflected on the outer landscape.
We fight for causes, for relationships, for our children, for our co-workers… but it can be terrifying to fight for ourselves. This is where sisterhood is particularly powerful. When our girlfriends see us over-extending, and they look us in the eye and say, “Stop. You don’t need to do this.”
